Pure tranquillity and peace? Hmmm…..

One would assume that if you go to a meditation centre that it would be as silent and peaceful as possible. Everyone else who is there is after the same end results as you and so everyone will try to keep such a peaceful atmosphere so as not to disturb or distract anyone else from what their meant to be doing, right? Wrong! The Indian habits continue throughout. And by this I mean that there was constant belching from start to finish in each session. The most surprising thing is that this disgusting tendency seemed to arise more from the female side of the hall. Though the men would be more likely to let out a cheeky fart which I was thankful for having been so far away from the main culprit.

The noises seemed to continue with sighing, spit gathering and one particular woman who seemed to be insistent on making rather sexual sounds of enjoyment. This bothered me for the main reason that clearly I was doing it wrong! It was just like ‘When Harry met Sally’, I wanted exactly what she was having, but I was finding it so difficult to acquire such.
